We've compiled a list of the most asked questions here but if there is anything else you'd like to know just get in touch, we'd love to hear from you and see how Brothers From Another Cover could help you party.
What instruments do you play?
Brothers From Another Cover is made up of four musicians; a guitarist, bass player, drummer and keyboard player. We all sing and enjoy a good four-part harmony!
Will you travel?
We're happy to travel to your chosen venue, anywhere in the UK.
How long will you play for?
We usually play 2 x 60 minute sets plus a 30 minute break/interval but we're totally flexible dependent on your requirements. We're happy to play music through our PA before, during the interval and after the show, if this is needed. Please contact us and we can discuss options.
What songs will you play?
We have a full set list covering songs from the 60s through to today's hits. Check out our repertoire to see a sample.
How much do you charge?
Ah, the big question! Unfortunately it's impossible to give a generic answer to this as everyone's requirements are slightly different. We'd be happy to discuss this with you directly and provide a quote once we know a little more about your event.
What time will you set up?
We require at least 90 minutes to set up and sound check and a standard quote will include a 6pm arrival time. Earlier set ups and late finishes are absolutely possible so please do ask us. Parking is required for 2-3 vehicles if possible and it would be beneficial to have side access to the stage area to avoid disruption to you and your guests on the day of your event.

Can you learn a specific song/s for the event?
Of course! If we are given enough notice and we feel that we can do the song justice then we are happy to take it on. If you're unsure of a song's suitability, then just ask us.
Can I choose the songs you play?
We're happy to work with you to create the perfect set list for your event. We want you to be happy with the song choices and we'll be able to advise what songs work well together to create the best atmosphere and make the night flow.
Do we need a DJ as well?
We can do that too! We provide a DJ service utilising the latest in automated DJ software. If this is of interest please let us know. The music played in between and after sets can be chosen by you or leave it up to us.
Will I be able to see you play live before I book?
We play many public venues through the year. You can find out where we're playing next here. Alternatively, get in touch to find out when we're next playing near you. In the meantime, we have a selection of soundclips available for you to listen to which will give you an idea of what we sound like.
What will the band wear?
Our standard attire is matching shirts and ties. But it's your event, so if you're looking for something more casual we can certainly accommodate. Just let us know when booking and we can discuss.
Is the band PAT tested and do you have adequate public liability insurance (PLI)?
Yes. If the venue requires a certificate, please contact us and we'll forward you copy.

How far in advance should we book?
We work on a first come, first served basis so we'll always advise you to get in touch as early as possible to make sure you get your date.

How much space will you need to perform?
In an ideal world a 3m x 4m area would be sufficient for us to play, however the more room you give us, the more of a show we can give you as we'll be able to move around. If you're not sure please contact us and we can discuss any requirements and, if distance allows, we can visit the venue with you beforehand.
Do you need a dressing room?
If possible, yes please. You can usually arrange with the venue that the band has a room to change in. This should be well lit, private and secure with enough tables and seating for the four of us.
What power supply do you need?
We'll need at least three to four standard plug sockets in very close proximity to the performance area. We will bring extension leads and multi-plug adapters as required. Sockets need to be on separate boards. This supply should not be shared with any one else or overloading may occur.
What if the reception is in a marquee?
No problem! If you're holding an event in a marquee, check with the venue whether there's an outdoor electricity supply. If not, please arrange with the marquee hire company for a generator to be provided.
Should I provide a rider (drinks and refreshments)?
If possible. If you can provide a basic food and drinks rider, that's great, otherwise we're happy to tag on the end of your buffet queue.
I can't see the answer to my question?
If you can't see the answer to your question or, if you have a specific request for your event then please feel free to contact us to discuss.
